Dec 3, 2014 - Nov 9, 2016: She worked as domestic helper in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong for a Chinese working couple with a newborn baby. Her duties were infant care, housework, ironing, laundry, and cooking. When she started the madam was 7 months pregnant. The madam sometimes worked from home. She cooked 2-3 dishes every day for dinner. On her last day of work, Deah had gone to the store to do some shopping. When she returned she tried many times to call her madam who was inside to open the door. (The family never gave her keys to the home). She was not supposed to ring the bell because it might wake the baby who asleep. Deah stood outside the door for almost an hour, calling the madam and knocking on the door, but because the baby had to go to school soon, she finally rang the bell. The madam opened the door, got very angry at her, threw her things out of her room and terminated her.
July 2011 - Nov 2014: She worked in Hong Kong, Tung Chung, for a British Malaysian working couple with 4 kids: 14, 9, 3, newborn. Her duties included childcare, housework, laundry, ironing, marketing, and some cooking. She also washed the car. The family had 2 helpers. The other helper did most of the marketing and cooking, and helped with the children and housework. She finished one contract and during the 2nd contract the family moved from Hong Kong to Cambodia, so Deah went to another family without having to leave Hong Kong.
