The patient was bed-ridden when Analyn started but now she can walk. She assists her with acupuncture, physical therapy, and massage before bed. She checks her vitals, assists her with toileting, showering and gives her medication. She also feeds her. The family also has a Chinese care-giver comes 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Analyn assists in the evening and nighttime duty. She also has a Filipino co-worker who does most of the household chores. Analyn helps with chores when she can.
2021 - 2023: Before coming to HK she worked in the Philippines for a family of 3 women: grandmother, her daughter who suffered from breast cancer, and her 10 y.o. daughter. Analyn's main duties included housework, marketing, cooking, and gardening. She also assisted the mother when she went to the hospital for chemo-therapy. She was the solo helper and finished her contract.
