May 18, 2023 - Feb 9, 2026: She is working in Taiwan as a caregiver for an elderly grandmother, who suffers from Parkinson's disease. Joy helps her with all her daily rituals, bathing, brushing teeth, changing diapers, feeding, etc. She also does some housework for a 4 storey house, does the laundry and cooking. She finished her contract and cannot renew due to Taiwanese regulations.
2021 - 2023: She worked for 18 months caring for a Kung Kung, who suffered from lung cancer. She had to help with respiratory therapy, NGT, suction, changing diapers, etc. He was bedridden. The job ended when he passed away.
2019 - 2021: She cared for an elderly woman for 27 months. This patient suffered from stomach cancer. She bathed her, fed her, gave her meds, changed diapers, etc. She was bed-ridden. Joy cared for her until her death.
2018: She worked for an elderly auntie who was recovering from a broken hip. She cared for her for 6 months. When she fully recovered the patient returned to the USA.
2016 -2018: She cared for an elderly grandfather who suffered from dementia and Alzheimers. She helped him bath, gave him food and medicine and cared for all his needs. She changed employers after 2 years because he was becoming more and more violent.
2015: She cared for a female Alzheimer patient for 6 months. After 6 months her children moved her to a nursing home.
