NOTES: Martha Jay L is a 26 y.o. single woman with no kids. She is 2/8 siblings.
She completed one semester of university and speaks English well. She also completed a 6 month Caregiver Certificate course. The course covers first aid, elder care, infant care and toddler care.
July 2024 - Jan 2026; She worked as a laboratory assistant at the Prime Lab Diagnostics and Medical Clinic Inc. She assisted on blood tests and ECGs, etc.
June 2024 - present: For the past 19 months, she is working on Sunday as a part-time caregiver for an elderly woman who is suffering from a genetic disease that makes it painful for her to move around, so she needs constant assistance. Martha assists her with personal care such as bathing, toileting, etc. She also does some light housekeeping duties.
She is the 2nd of 8 siblings so she has assisted her mother in caring for her younger siblings, and she also has experience caring for nieces and nephews: 2, 3, 4 years old. They live in their house, so she has helped care for them since birth.
In her family they have chickens, cats, dogs, and birds. She is comfortable caring for animals.
