After the 2nd child was born, the family hired another helper to care for the new baby. Sofia normally would wake up early and do the laundry, ironing, cleaning, and when the baby woke up she focused on caring for the child. She did all the housework, cooking and childcare for the first 3 years. She occasionally washed the car. After the 2nd child was born, the 2nd helper was hired and helped out with the housework as well. She finished 2 contracts.

Before going to Qatar she worked as a saleslady in the Philippines.
