Aug 2007 - Dec 2021: Laarni worked in Bahrain for a couple with 5 kids: 7, 10, 12, 13, 16 (in 2007). Her duties included childcare, cooking, laundry, and ironing. The mother was stay at home, but Laarni helped a lot with the childcare also. As the older children grew up they married and started families. The first grandchild was born in 2017 and the families lived together, so Laarni did a lot of newborn care and toddler care. By the time she left in 2021, there were 5 grandchildren and they hired a co-worker to help her. She went home in 2021 for a leave but the pandemic prevented her in going back to Bahrain.
