Helper fee policy
Helpers pay no placement or recruitment fees. The medical examination is paid for by the employer. The only charge to a helper is the statutory commission, capped at 10% of the first month's salary, as permitted under Hong Kong law. This commission applies only to applicants under the Standard Overseas Hire package. For all other packages, Arrow waives the commission — those applicants pay nothing.

    • 4 Days Arrow Training in the Philippines **

    • Courier Services

    • Philippines Medical Exam

    • Airport pick-up

    • One-day food and travel allowance

    • HKID Card Service

    • 1-2 nights accommodation upon arrival (food not included)

    • Pre-work orientation

    • Helper Support Classes (Tagumpay) 4 lessons

    • Follow up services for 2 years

    • Termination Settlement Service at Arrow office

    • After arrival 25% discount on replacement during the first 6 months

    • No refund. Free replacement if helper does NOT arrive in Hong Kong

    Does NOT include:

    • One way air ticket from Manila to Hong Kong

    • Local helper insurance

    Optional Services

    • Hong Kong medical exam ($800)

    • Delivery to employer's home ($400)

    ** Arrow Training in the Philippines includes Chinese cooking, newborn & childcare, housekeeping, employer relationships, Cantonese and intro to HK culture. If your helper is ex HK and you do NOT want her to attend training, we will give an $800 discount.

    • Document preparation for POLO (Consulate), Department Migrant Workers (Philippines), and HK Immigration including all related fees and expenses

    • Courier Services

    • Medical Exam; (Philippines)

    Does NOT include:

    • Local helper insurance

  • Includes:

    • In person interviews with local applicants qualified to process their visa in Hong Kong.

    • Arrow finds, screens, and introduces qualified candidate

    • Document preparation for POLO (Consulate) and HK Immigration

    • All fees for both for POLO (Consulate) and HK Immigration

    • Hong Kong medical

    • Free stay in Arrow Guesthouse while awaiting visa

    • No refund after Arrow begins preparing the application.

    • 25% discount on replacement for the first 6 months

  • This is for helpers you find yourself online, or through friend referrals, etc. These applicants must be qualified to process their visa in Hong Kong without having to return to the Philippines. Includes:

    • Document preparation for POLO (Consulate) and HK Immigration

    • All fees for both for POLO (Consulate) and HK Immigration

    • Hong Kong medical

    • Arrow Guesthouse is available to your applicant while awaiting the visa. Please inquire at office +852 9387-1115 for charges

  • Includes:

    • Document preparation for POLO (Consulate) and HK Immigration

    • Assistance to register workers online with POLO.

    • a copy of your HK ID card

    • proof of address: copy of a utility bill such as electric, water or broadband

    • proof of financial position: most recent -3 months of pay slips, OR recent 3 months salary deposits records OR recent 3 months bank account statements for an account with a balance of more than 350,000 dollars

    • Names, birthdays and id #s of everyone living in the house, including your current helper.

    • Check or cash to pay your agency fee
