The grandparents Kung Kung and Popo come from China approx every 3 months and stay for 2 weeks. The Yehye and Mahma come once a year and stay for 1 month. Her duties included cooking for everyone, doing the housework, laundry, ironing and marketing. She gets the girl ready and off to school. After school she reads books to her, helps her with homework, takes her to activities, etc. She renewed her contract in March 2026.
Reason for leaving: Her employer terminated her, saying they were bringing their Chinese amah from China with the baby boy. They will arrive this week. They told her that they are returning to China next year. The home is not big enough for two helpers, so they have released Mary Glo and will just have their Amah from China until they move back there permanently.
Hong Kong, N. Point, March 12, 2020 - March 13, 2024:
She worked in Hong Kong, (N. Point) for a family of 3 adults: a couple and popo, and 2 kids: 16, 11 y.o. Her duties included cleaning the house, marketing, and cooking. She takes the youngest to and from school. Popo did the marketing, but Mary Glo also helps sometimes. Popo cooked most of the evening meals. She will finish her contract and is the solo helper.
2016 - 2019: She worked as a supermarket security guard for a local Philippines store.
